It’s been nearly three months since I returned from Spain and my pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago de Compastela (the Way of St. James). And I’ve not adequately thanked you for your prayers and support nor given any “report” as to how it was. Please let me do both in offering our Parish Lenten Mission to thank you and to share with you my Camino. Or, rather, to share the Lord’s Camino that He had me walk with Him to the tomb of the apostle James. The beautiful countryside, the great city cathedrals and the small village churches, the other pilgrims who shared part of their Way with me, and “the Saints of the Camino” whose stories make up the history of the Way, all were part of His conversation with me. And I’d like to try to share some of the more meaningful parts of that conversation with you. Our Parish Lenten Mission will be in church at 7:00 p.m. from the Second Sunday of Lent, March 12, to Tuesday, March 14. Do come.
