We will return to Masses in our church on the weekend of April 10-11. Following are the guidelines that will be followed:
If you do not feel well, have a fever, chills, shortness of breath, or other COVID symptoms, we ask that you remain at home and view Mass via one of the platforms that are available to you.
Everyone attending Mass is required to wear a face covering.
Entrance to the church will be on the Longden side. Entrance to the Hall will be the northern set of doors. All attendees will be required to use hand sanitizer upon entering.
In order to maximize the available seating in the church, parishioners will be directed to a pew by an usher. Seating will begin in the front and work toward the rear. Single attendees are asked to be seated on one of the chairs along the wall to help us utilize the pews for larger groups. Parishioners entering the Hall will also be directed to their seats by an usher.
Collection baskets will not be passed during Mass. The church will have baskets available at the entrance, exits and middle section. Baskets in the Hall will be placed at both ends of the stage.
Communion will continue to be distributed in the hand only. In church, there will be two Communion stations in the front and two in the middle. The Hall will have a single station in the front near the altar. All Communicants will be directed by an usher when to exit their pew. Please remember to maintain 6 feet between you and the person in line in front of you.
When Mass has concluded, those on the east side of the church will exit through the east door; those on the west side will exit through the west door. If a parishioner who is seated on the west side requires the use of the ramp, they will wait until the middle aisle clears before exiting. Those in the Hall will exit either through the south door (the one that faces the parking lot), or through the southernmost doors in the rear of the Hall.
Mass will continue to be available for viewing on our website at: www.annunciationchurch.net, on our Facebook page at Annunciation Catholic Church, or on YouTube at: Annunciation Catholic Church Arcadia.
